Beautiful Kukum National Park

Getting There - 175 km from Accra, Ghana. The drive is about 3 hours and 40 minutes. The ride has beautiful views but the roads have potholes so you need to be careful. Attractions - The main attraction at this national park is the 350m long Canopy walkway. You have the option to take a shorter canopy if you can’t handle the 350meters on the wobbly canopy. The cost for foreigners is 100 Cedis and 35 cedis for Ghanaian locals. You can also go bird watching or just hike the trails. Hotels - There are tree houses you can stay in at Kukum National Forrest for about 200 cedis a night. This is a great way to explore the forest at night, when more animals are active and there’s a higher chance of you seeing the wildlife. Food & Restaurants - There’s a restaurant at the main entrance of the park that offers affordable local and foreign food.
