Cook Islands 🇨🇰

The Cook Islands are located in the Polynesian islands of the South Pacific, consisting of 15 islands. It is a self-governing territory in free association with New Zealand, known as the "fruit garden of the South Pacific". It has typical South Pacific tropical scenery and is a famous tourist destination in Oceania. Aitutaki Island is the earliest island in the Cook Islands that Western missionaries set foot on. Currently, on the island, there is still a Christian church built in 1823 by the missionaries who first arrived on Aitutaki Island. The entire church is mainly constructed of coral rock. The lagoon of Attu Island is triangular in shape, with an area of approximately 18 square kilometers. The highest mountain on the island is Mount Moffett. The economy is mainly based on tourism, fishing, black pearl farming, and offshore finance.
