Spring season with a view of the Mediterranean!

#springwander #alexandriaegypt I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Citadel of Qaitbay during spring time. It offers an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea especially during Sunset time. Despite being a site of historical significance, it is also a beautiful spot to visit. It is actually made from the ruins of one of the ancient wonders of the world I.e. Alexandria Lighthouse. You can really enjoy sunny and breezy weather here. This fortress built in the 15th century is very well preserved and the topmost attraction in Alexandria. I really enjoyed the panoramic views of the city here and can highly vouch for visiting this place specially during spring.
