Experience Sri Lankan Buddhist culture in Anuradhapura, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka

It takes about 4.5 hours by car from Colombo. The entrance fee is US$30, and we were shown around by a local guide in Anuradhapura introduced by the driver. Each attraction is a little far away, so if you have time, I recommend renting a bicycle, but I only had half a day, so I went around by car. I also have fond memories of taking off my shoes and walking barefoot. In some places, mats were laid out in places where you would walk barefoot, and some places were also used to protect against the heat.
