Xuantian Temple in Bangkok ~ a holy place for believers

#BangkokAttractions Walking into the Xuantian Temple with a long history in Bangkok is like entering a temple picture full of mysterious Zen in Southeast Asia. Passing through the entrance of the temple gate, the first thing that comes into view is a towering bright red hall with well-proportioned eaves and exquisite carvings, showing the traditional and unique Southeast Asian temple architectural style. We walked along the stone brick path into the temple, and from time to time there was a strong fragrance of incense blowing against our faces. Together with the banana leaves planted randomly around it, it formed a unique artistic conception of a tropical temple in Southeast Asia. The hall is brightly lit, and numerous majestic and peaceful statues of gods are enshrined in niches on the walls on both sides. The dragon and phoenix carved railings add to the solemnity. When I came to the altar table in the center of the main hall, I saw a bright red and huge statue of Xuantian God sitting majestic in it. The temple officials are preparing offerings, and the copper incense burner has been filled with incense candles, emitting a strong and fragrant scent of incense. The believers knelt down devoutly in the temple and respectfully requested the protection and blessing of the main god who protects the country.
