#tripแจกโรงแรมฟรี 🙏Wat Chakrawat Ratchawat Wora Maha Wihan, a second-class royal temple, is an ancient temple since the Ayutthaya period. It was originally called Wat Nang Plueum, and later Wat Sampluem in the Rattanakosin period. It is assumed that the three women built the temple together, or because it was near Sampheng, it was distorted to Sampluem. There is also the Sam Pluem Canal passing through the temple. 🏰 Currently, the original permanent structures remain, namely the old eastern chapel, which enshrines Phra Pa Lelai. Chao Phraya Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni), a great general during the reign of King Rama III, renovated the entire temple in 1819 and offered it as a royal temple. It was given the name Wat Chakrawat Ratchawat Wora Maha Wihan. 🙏In 1827, Chao Phraya Bodindecha invited Phra Bang from Vientiane. King Rama III ordered it to be enshrined here. Chao Phraya Bodindecha therefore built a chapel. To enshrine Phra Bang, King Rama III saw that Phra Wihan Phra Bang was higher than the Ubosot, so a new Ubosot was built. The original Ubosot became the current Ubosot. 🙏 Later, King Rama IV gave Phra Bang back to Luang Prabang and invited Phra Nak from the Phra Hall in the Grand Palace, which had similar Buddha characteristics, to be enshrined instead. Therefore, this Vihara was called Phra Nak Wihan. Other important things in the temple that should be visited and paid homage include: 🛕 Phra Phuttha Prang has a covered gallery around the southern base. The second-floor gallery, which is in line with the corner of the roof, is in the shape of a Chinese pavilion. The base of the Prang is a Singharabhathat base, consisting of niches in the directions. Inside is enshrined a standing Buddha image. 🛕 Phra Phutthabat Pavilion is a four-sided pavilion with a prang pediment with decorated patterns, niches and door and window frames, gilded with glass, and walls decorated with stucco lion-face patterns. Enshrines the Buddha's footprint and a gilded cast Buddha image in the Pa Lelai posture. 🛕 Khao Phra Phuttha Chai and Tham Phra Phuttha Saiyasana form the shape of Khao Mo. The upper part has a statue of Phra Phuttha Chai.
