This is the question posed by "The Sky Is Not The Same" exhibition, encouraging us to reflect on the transformations around us—both visible and deeply hidden within our hearts. This exhibition stems from the personal experiences of the artist, who has lived in the same house for over 20 years. Over time, he witnessed gradual yet inevitable changes in his surroundings. A once peaceful garden became a construction site for a skytrain. The open sky was replaced by concrete pillars obstructing every view. The tranquility that once nurtured his soul was slowly overtaken by the noise of machinery and the smell of dust. The artist conveys this transition through paintings that are both mysterious and abstract. These works do not directly represent the external world but rather interpret it symbolically, akin to "dreamscapes" that reflect emotional states and subconscious feelings during times of uncertainty. The pieces do not narrate truths but instead open a space for viewers to think and feel, blurring the line between what is seen and what is felt. The artist highlights how change not only impacts external spaces but also deeply shakes the human psyche.
