The Grand Canal Museum

The Beijing Grand Canal Museum is the eastern pavilion of the Capital Museum, located in the northwest of the Forest Park in the city's sub-center, adjacent to the Sixth Ring Road Innovation Development Axis. It officially started construction on October 28, 2019, and together with the nearby Beijing Art Center and Beijing City Library, it has become a new important public cultural facility in Beijing's city sub-center. The Grand Canal Museum is currently exhibiting the 'Selected Treasures from the Vast Ocean' exhibition of precious cultural relics from the Beijing Cultural Relics Exchange Center. This is the center's first exhibition of treasured cultural relics in 60 years, selecting 161 pieces (sets) of exhibits, including blue and white porcelain, jade, bronzes, and paintings, most of which are being presented to the public for the first time, and are well worth a visit.
