In February, I embarked on a trip to Beijing with great expectations. Check out my guide! 🌆Beijing, the capital of China, is a city where ancient and modern meet. Here, you can find the magnificent Forbidden City, which carries the glory of the Ming and Qing dynasties; the winding Great Wall, which tells the vicissitudes of history; and the modern Bird's Nest and Water Cube, which show the vitality of the times. In February, Beijing is still cold, but its charm is undiminished. When snowflakes fall, it adds a touch of ancient charm. 🚗Transportation Guide ✈️Plane: After arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport or Beijing Daxing International Airport, you can take the airport bus to various parts of the city, which is economical and affordable. You can also take the subway, such as the Capital Airport Line and Daxing Airport Line, which are convenient and fast. It takes about 30–60 minutes to take a taxi to the city center, depending on traffic conditions. 🚄High-speed rail: Beijing has several high-speed rail stations, including Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station, and Beijing Railway Station. Beijing Railway Station is close to the city center and has convenient transportation. Beijing West Railway Station is large and has many lines. Beijing South Railway Station is an important high-speed rail hub with complete supporting facilities. Most city buses operate from 5:00 to 23:00, and some lines operate overnight. You can pay with a Beijing Transportation Card or a mobile payment code. Visit the Monument to the People's Heroes and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall during the day to experience the weight of history📷 📍The Palace Museum: The imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, with red walls and yellow tiles, is resplendent and magnificent. Every palace and every brick carries the memory of history. 📌Practical Guide 1. You need to make a reservation in advance to visit Tiananmen Square. Pay attention to the opening hours and visit requirements of Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. You need to book tickets for the Palace Museum in advance on the official website. Visit according to the designated route and protect cultural relics and historic sites. Jingshan Park offers a panoramic view of the Forbidden City and the central axis of Beijing, making it a great place to take photos.
