With an annual pass to the Palace Museum, you can decide to go just one day in advance. You can make a reservation through the official mini-program. The Jade from the Kunlun Mountains is an exhibition of Hetian jade carvings that is free to visit this year. There are so many exquisite jade carvings that I can't post them all, even in a collage. 🌟Highlights: Exquisite jade carvings, a delicate exhibition that can be viewed for free at the Palace Museum. There is also a very beautiful dragon-藻井 (decorative ceiling). ⏳Duration: You can take your time and spend about an hour at the jade carving exhibition. 🚉Transportation: If you don't take the subway, you can take a taxi to Donghuamen and then walk along the Palace Museum wall to the ticket office. You can also see many people dressed as gege (Manchu princesses). 📝Tips: In addition to the jade carving exhibition, paid exhibitions such as the Treasure Gallery require advance reservations, just like general admission tickets, so the annual pass doesn't offer much of an advantage for these.
