This trip to Beijing was particularly captivating, especially the encounters under the night sky. As darkness fell, the Fayuan Mosque appeared even more solemn and majestic, each brick and tile seemingly whispering stories of the past. Not far away, the ancient city wall of Deshengmen stood magnificent. Later, a walk through Shichahai Park revealed a few cherry blossoms illuminated by colorful lights, their reflections dancing in the water, creating a delightful contrast with the lively crowds on the shore. A bite of sweet and sour tanghulu brought a burst of sweetness to the palate. The sign of the Kirin Folk Music Tavern emitted a warm glow, and the sound of music drifted through the air.
