Mutianyu Great Wall – The most walkable and well-maintained section of the Great Wall

#ThailandFlightEvent Mutianyu Great Wall is easily accessible from Beijing and is well maintained, so it is a really comfortable section to walk. The stairs are lower and the path is wider than other Great Walls, so it is less physically demanding. There are various means of transportation, such as cable cars, lifts, and slides, so you can enjoy going up and down. I went up on the lift and came down on the slide. It felt like an amusement park that everyone from children to adults can enjoy. The mountain scenery and the endless Great Wall seen from the wall were really magnificent, and on a good day, you can see far away. Since there weren't too many people, it was good to stop and take pictures here and there. The stores were not too commercial and clean, so I was able to look around pleasantly throughout the trip.
