Taoranting Park, Yongding Tower and the River

I went in Autumn and later in the day which led to an interesting sunset. The tower and the park are close enough together you could do them in the same day and walk along the river before, in between and after. Honestly the river was one of my favourite places in Beijing, I started running there during covid and I think you get to see the best Beijing has to offer there. I loved seeing families playing together, the older men practicing their instruments and the older women doing their dance exercises. As always train stations and bus stops are very close qnd the temple of Heaven is also not far if you wanted to do a big day of exploring.
