Piyamit Tunnel

Piyamit Tunnel is located at Ban Piyamit 1, Tambon Tanae Marae, Amphoe Betong, Yala Province. It is an earthen tunnel built by the former Malayan Communist Movement (MCM) as a base of operations for political struggle. However, they later returned to help develop the Thai nation. Piyamit Tunnel was built in 1976 to avoid air attacks and store supplies. It is currently a tourist attraction for tourists interested in learning about the history of the past.
