Prambanan, most beautiful hindu temple in the world, and Borobudur, the biggest buddhist monument.

From Yogyakarta in Central Java we went to both Prambanan and Borobodur in one day. Prambanan is the biggest hindu temple in the island of java and is often dubbed as the most beautiful Hindu temple in the world. The temple consists of three main temples, one for each of the Hindu gods, Brahma, Wisnu, and Shiva. Around the complex there is also opportunity for various activities such as tandem biking, mini atvs, archery and animal garden. Borobudur is the biggest single Buddhist monument in the world, and arguably the biggest tourist attraction in all of Central Java. It is made up of 10 levels and takes form of a giant mandala.
