Sharing experiences from traveling in Egypt

I stayed in Cairo for two nights, and the environment was very good, which can easily create an illusion that the living conditions in this country are quite good. However, in reality, most of the buildings in the city are dilapidated, many children are begging on the streets, and there are many idle men (in fact, personally, I think that the presence of young men loitering on the streets is an implicit indicator of a country's economic development. If these strong and capable young men can't find work, then it's even less likely for the rest of the labor force to be employed). The food in Egypt really takes some getting used to. Even though it's varied and colorful, it tastes either too sweet or too bland. The Egyptian bread is quite good, though, with a chewy texture and the taste of wheat. The Egyptian women I met on the streets were living on the roadside with their children, and what amazed me were not the buildings, but the countless souls that have put in day and night behind these grand structures. And the Valley of the Kings, whose murals have endured for thousands of years without fading.
