Cameron Highlands Pahang | Feeding Sheep & Alpacas at Sheep Sanctuary! 🐑🦙

#springitinerary During the long holiday, I took Aibao to Cameron Highlands’ Sheep Sanctuary to see the cute sheepies up close! Here, you can feed both sheep and alpacas (also known as llamas). It was drizzling lightly when we arrived, but the park was still open. Aibao wore a funny hat and even put his hoodie hood over it — looked a bit silly but he was happy, and that’s what matters! After buying tickets, we got a box of feed (enough for two people) and a RM1 discount coupon. When going down the stairs, watch out for sheep droppings — staff clean regularly, but some might be missed, so be careful! Inside, there are sheep in fenced areas, but most are free and can be fed directly. The alpacas come in white, brown, and grey — and all the sheep are super fluffy and adorable! There’s even a tiny baby alpaca. Tip: Don’t hold the feed box directly in front of the sheep — they get excited and try to bite! Pour some feed into your hand first, then feed them gently. There’s a handwashing basin nearby so you can wash your hands afterward. If you run out of feed, you can buy more on site: RM4 for 1 box or 1 bunch of grass RM10 for 3 boxes or 3 bunches of grass Parking is available opposite the sanctuary for RM5 per entry.
