The Li Zijian Art Museum in Changsha

The Li Zijian Art Museum in Changsha is located in Yuelu District of Changsha city. The museum covers an area of 15.3 acres, with a building area of over 25,000 square meters. The surrounding environment includes green spaces and a lake, totaling more than 180 acres. The foundation of the museum was laid in May 2014, and it was officially opened to the public on October 1, 2016, offering free admission. The mission of the Li Zijian Art Museum is to disseminate the artistic values of truth, goodness, and beauty, to promote international art exchanges, to enhance the cultural taste of the city, and to enrich the spiritual life of the public. The museum houses several exhibition halls, including the Li Zijian Oil Painting Permanent Exhibition Hall, Master Hsing Yun's Calligraphy Museum, the Mind Space, the Water Music Hall, etc., displaying Mr. Li Zijian's realistic oil paintings as well as Master Hsing Yun's calligraphy works. In addition, the museum also hosts various types of art exhibitions and cultural activities, such as the International Children's Environmental Protection Charity Painting Competition Award-winning Works Exhibition, Dragon Boat Festival Ethnic Chamber Music Concert, and more. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, with summer hours from 9:30 to 18:00 (tickets stop being issued at 17:30), and winter hours from 10:00 to 17:30 (tickets stop being issued at 17:00). Admission is free.
