GOING TO NAM DU ALONE FOR 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

REVIEW OF A 3-DAY, 2-NIGHT SOLO TRIP TO NAM DU (departing from Hanoi) -------------------------------- If you want to go to the beach, only Kien Giang in the Southwest of Vietnam is beautiful, so since I was in Ho Chi Minh City and had some business, I decided to go to Nam Du alone! 1️⃣ Nam Du archipelago is located in Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province, Vietnam. It is about 83 km southwest of Rach Gia city, near Ba Lua and Phu Quoc archipelagos. Nam Du archipelago consists of 21 large and small islands with a total area of ​​about 1,054 hectares. 2️⃣ Travel guide to Nam Du (2 stages from Saigon, 3 stages from the North) - Stage 1: From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, book a flight to Ho Chi Minh City during the day. If you have little time, take stage 2. If you have free time, stay here for 1-2 days to regain your strength and then continue with stage 2 - Stage 2: From Ho Chi Minh City to Rach Gia: Currently, there are no direct flights to Rach Gia. I took the Phuong Trang sleeper bus from Ho Chi Minh City (11pm) to Rach Gia port (5am) - Stage 3: From Rach Gia to Nam Du by Superdong speedboat, travel time is about 2 - 2.5 hours. If you get seasick, remember to take anti-seasickness pills After arriving at the island, you can rent a motorbike, boat or train to visit the small islands in the Nam Du archipelago. 3️⃣ Accommodation I had 3 days and 2 nights on the island because of the strong wind, I couldn't go on the 3-island tour, so I stayed at 2 places to experience. Huy Hoang Guesthouse costs 350k/night (2 beds), clean, airy room, no elevator, can accommodate 4 people Langchia Nam Du Resort 1.5 million/night (weekend) I think the room is normal but the view is worth the money, has a private beach, the most memorable feeling is lying and swinging like a toad watching the sea (so cool). So if you travel like a lazy vacationer like me, I highly recommend everyone to stay at Langchia for 1 night. 4️⃣ Places to play & eat on Nam Du Island - Bai Cay Men: The most beautiful beach in Nam Du, clear blue water, white sand, with poetic coconut trees. - Bai Ngu: Where King Gia Long once stopped, there is a well of fresh water that never runs dry. Nam Du Lighthouse: One of the tallest lighthouses in Vietnam, from here you can see the whole island. - 3-island tour: Hon Mau, Hon Ngang, Hon Hai Bo Dap (the day I went, the wind was so strong that the boat was not allowed to go on this tour) - In addition, you can experience other activities such as diving to see coral, night squid fishing, visiting fishing villages - Try specialties such as blue bone fish, sea urchin, grouper hotpot, rice noodles... 5️⃣ Budget 3N2D - 6,850,000 VND (because I went to heal alone and had little time, so the price was a bit high, if you go in a group, from HCM, for a longer period, staying at a motel, the price will be much more reasonable) 🥰Nam Du has friendly people, clear blue sea water but is a small island, spontaneous tourism, average price, few places to play, suitable for groups of friends who like to explore, go on vacation close to nature or lazy travel. If you have come to Nam Du, spend an extra day exploring Hon Son, 1 hour away (the boat to Rach Gia passes by) to make your trip more complete. #couplestrip
