This allows for greater creativity in its interior design. The property is a major investment by the owner Yintai, designed by Jon Kastl, the renovator of the New York Waldorf Astoria, who personally oversaw the project to extensively replicate the Art Deco style of the New York WA, allowing guests in Chengdu to experience the high society of the 1920s from across the ocean. Location: Situated on Tianfu Avenue, next to the Financial City Metro Station. Perfectly located at the intersection of the new and old parts of the city, with excellent connectivity. Rooms: Starting from 50 square meters, the rooms feature Waldorf Astoria's custom-designed beds, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, intelligent room and bathroom facilities. Equipped with a separate desk, walk-in closet, double-sided marble washbasins, and a shower with a wet and dry area. The amenities are from Ferragamo, with a rich scent that fits well with the brand. Public Areas: A high-ceilinged, retro-style welcome lobby on the first floor; the SkyLobby on the fiftieth floor. The double-height lobby in the sky is grand and atmospheric, with a 12-meter-tall WA logo that is eye-catching. The design inspiration comes from Chengdu's traditional Siheyuan (courtyard houses). The front desk features an innovative four-sided check-in. The grand chandeliers, majestic columns, and the abundance of Art Deco details give the impression of being in the glamorous New York metropolis of the last century.
