| Chengdu Louis Castle Hotel. · Design: CCD / Cheng Chung Design (HK) · Client: North Section of Jiannan Avenue, Wuhou District, Chengdu, China In 2008, the Louis Art Castle, designed by a family of French royal castle designers, began construction. After ten years of meticulous work, it is almost a restoration of the Palace of Fontainebleau, one of the masterpieces of French classical architecture. Within the original classical style framework of the building, the design uses [modern aesthetics] to dialogue with [classical elements], employing simple lines and bold colors to allow fashion attitudes from different eras to communicate. This is CCD's design thinking for this space. The space uses pure white and elegant black as the main colors, with materials like bright red lacquered panels, creating a space that is pure and free, without the heaviness of history, and not constrained by any era. The simplified lines of the building and the details of the furnishings create a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The entire space combines the ingenuity of life, a fashionable atmosphere, and the fun of life, all to create a feast for the senses. No matter which space you are in, you can clearly feel the harmonious and unified continuity between every detail and the overall space, whether it is the neatness and rigor of the lines and shapes, or the consistency from style to tone. The simple lines and colors continue the temperament of the space while creating a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The transparent space environment provides a good sensory experience, pouring out a unique spatial charm.
