Spring Snow in Otaru - Take JR from New Chitose Airport to Otaru

From the New Chitose Airport International Line, you need to walk through the food court to the domestic line. It takes about 10 minutes to buy a ticket and take the JR to Otaru Station. There is a bus every half an hour. The special express bus takes about 1 hour and 14 minutes to Otaru. It stops at fewer stations than the express bus and is about 10 minutes faster. The ticket price for a non-reserved seat is ¥1910, and a reserved seat is ¥840. Most carriages have non-reserved seats. If it is not a peak season and there are a lot of people, you should be able to buy a non-reserved seat. Jr drove along the coastline from Sapporo to Otaru. There was deep snow on both sides of the track. Although the clouds were thick, the coastline with sky, sea and snow was quite beautiful. As soon as we arrived at Otaru Station, it started to snow.
