Longmenhao Old Street

Longmenhao Old Street is located in the core area of Chongqing's main city -- the middle section of Nanbin Road, covering more than 300 acres, totaling 180,000 square meters. It has a long history, mentioned above a thousand years, with numerous relics. The historical and cultural block consists of more than 200 buildings from different periods, including 18 excellent historical and cultural buildings. It is the best preserved and largest historical and cultural old street in the main city of Chongqing. The culture of opening ports, the culture of resistance against Japan, the culture of Bayu, and the religious culture are all brilliantly displayed here. The old street is also the location of one of the twelve scenes of ancient Bayu -- 'Longmenhao Moon', where countless literati and ink guests compete to write poems.
