It was a trip to Dali, China 🇨🇳During our visit to Dali, we were mesmerized by its stunning landscapes, rich history, and laid-back atmosphere 🙌 We explored Dali Ancient Town, a beautifully preserved old town with cobblestone streets, Bai-style architecture, and charming cafés ☕️ Early morning is the best time for photography, as the soft sunlight ✨ highlights the intricate details of the buildings, and the streets are quiet. Sunset is also magical, with golden light casting a warm glow over the rooftops 🙌 📍Dali Ancient Town, Dali City, Yunnan, China One of our favorite photo spots was Erhai Lake, a vast, crystal-clear lake surrounded by mountains ⛰️ We visited in the early morning ⛅️ when the water was still, creating a perfect reflection of the sky and the distant peaks. Taking a boat 🛶 ride offered stunning panoramic views, and we highly recommend capturing the fishermen with their traditional cormorants, a truly iconic scene. 📍Erhai Lake, Dali City, Yunnan, China We also visited the famous Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, one of the most iconic landmarks in Dali. The best time for photos is midday when the sunlight ✨ illuminates the golden details of the pagodas, and the blue sky ⛅️ provides a stunning contrast. We took some of our best shots from the reflection pool, where the pagodas mirrored perfectly in the water. 📍Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, Dali City, Yunnan, China For a more local experience, we explored Xizhou Ancient Town, a charming village known for its well-preserved Bai-style architecture and traditional markets 🛍️ We recommend visiting in the morning to capture the daily life of the locals and trying the famous Xizhou Baba, a delicious crispy pastry The colorful buildings and mountain backdrop made for fantastic pictures 📸 📍Xizhou Ancient Town, Dali City, Yunnan, China Another hidden gem owe found was Cangshan Mountain ⛰️ offering incredible hiking trails and breathtaking views over Dali and Erhai Lake. The Zhonghe Cable Car 🚡 took us up to a scenic viewpoint where we captured stunning photos of the rolling mountains and valleys.
