The Snow Expo, a winter spectacle!

The Sun Island is a river island located on the north bank of the Songhua River in Harbin city. In the early years, the Manchu people fished and hunted here, and the Songhua River was abundant with a type of fish whose name in Manchu sounds very similar to the Mandarin word for 'sun', hence the name 'Sun Island'. As a southerner, this was my first time watching so many snow sculptures up close, and it was stunning! There are also various activities in the scenic area, and if you're not in a hurry, you can try them all. It's an experience I've never had before! This year's Snow Expo ended on February 26th.
