Not Europe! Super exquisite town, just a day to go around | Daniding, New Zealand

The attractions in downtown Danidine are very concentrated. The hotel we stayed in is a street away from Danidine Railway Station. Museums, train stations, churches are all within walking distance. If you drive around the island, it is highly recommended here, as a stopover, arrange a day, enough to slowly feel the clarity and elegance of Danitin. But Nidin is much larger than the city we have been to in New Zealand, and after looking at the data, it is New Zealand's fourth largest city and the second largest city on the South Island. The city of Danidine has a strong connection to Scotland, and together with many locals, takes the celebration of the Scots very seriously, and regularly holds Haggis shows quite seriously every year, especially with Danidine whiskey. The Scottish Week, held in March each year, wears traditional costumes and plays the Scottish bagpipes, and the city is full of Scottish sentiment. But Nidin's urban architecture is also considered to be typical of Scotland, so it is known as "the most like Scotland outside Scotland" foreign city, with a strong historical and cultural atmosphere. The mention of New Zealand's distinctive architecture has to be made of the Flanders Renaissance and Danitin railway station, which is relished by New Zealanders for its grand architecture and grand interiors. Danidin Railway Station, also known as the "gingerbread house", earned the nickname "gingerbread george" for architect George Chupp. The railway station was built using Kokonga basalt and then decorated with Omalu limestone, plus a variety of shapes, textures and materials. After a complete renovation in 1999, the building has completely restored its former style. In the park square in front of the train station, brick-paved neatly on the road, the time of the Otago Daily Times was founded, which was New Zealand's first daily newspaper. Although fundraising was carried out later, it was finally dismantled in 2021. It was a pity. About 10 minutes walk from the train station, you can see a particularly steep road Baldwin Street. The length is only 350 meters, but it is loaded with Guinness World Records because the street is tilted at 40%! Houses on both sides of the street were crooked, and people walking on the street couldn't stand straight at all. The most famous "chocolate bean race" is kept on the street.
