This time i decide to stay at resort instead of hotel. I want to let my kids enjoy the island vibe. Strolling on the beach, playing sand. Let them enjoy the sunset and be with nature.
I decide to stay at Frangipani Resort & Spa Langkawi. The concept is cottage by the sea. What I love the most is the landscape is so greenery. I really feels like escaping the city and enjoying island vibe.
I choose to stay at Garden Villa. My room just beside the pool which is so convenient for my kids. It doesnt have a direct seaview from my window but the beach is just 1minute away from my room.
Their beach is PERFECT. The beach is clean, and not crowded. You will want to spend most of your time enjoying the sunset while your kids can enjoy their time in the pool or playing sand.
This resort is so quite, calm and most important is not crowded. You dont have to worry about your kids might bumping or disturbing others.
This resort also location wise. Only few minute from Cenang. You still can enjoy Cenang night view while enjoying your stay at this resort.

The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa is located at Kuah Town, about 25 km away from the airport and near to a lot of tourist spots such as Eagle Square.
If you are looking for a good stay in the island but would like to go for a lower budget for a luxury resort, Westin will definitely on the top list rather than Ritz-Calton, St Regis or Datai Langkawi.

Cenang beach🏊
The beach is clean with local food huts along the side. No other plastic or waste was visible as I walked along the beach. The sand felt soft under my bare feet and the oil stains were not frequent. The muddy water, the same color as the huge jellyfish, does not call for swimming. Many budget restaurants line up in the area and start catering at 4. Many do not venture into the water but prefer water sports instead. The water is a little muddy on this beach and we also heard about jellet bites on this beach. We went to the water albeit very carefully. The evenings talked a lot with a lot of people who sit on the bean bags and enjoy their drinks and food. Some huts entertain them with fire plays. We enjoyed walking along the beach in the morning and .. evening. Avoid the day due to moisture and heat.
One can use the side beach tour and travel trader for the local tour with a good deal. You can also shop at the
duty free shop.

The huge structure of the eagle makes taking a selfie with it. Lots of free shops around Eagle Square. Beautiful miniature fountains, balconies and bridges, making them the perfect place for the perfect holiday photos for postcards. The square is a good place to see ferries drying through the port but plan a trip here early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is at least intense. Very beautiful too! The sunset is going well Of course, there are a lot of tourists, taking pictures, but everyone was friendly. The eagle is so cool They are well maintained and there are fountains with colorful lights that light up when the sun goes down. The bay is also beautiful, and there is a park nearby where you can walk, even the small beach that is worth anything at high tide. There are also the usual tourist stalls and souvenirs there, which I'm not very interested in, but the ice cream was very good! 😁
Relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea and the grand eagle statue. If you are traveling with young children, visit the place where they will have their own play time around the eagle as well as the fountains in front of the eagle.
