Fuzhou West Lake Park

Fuzhou West Lake Park, located at No. 71 Hubin Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, has a history of more than 1,700 years. It is the most well-preserved classical garden in Fuzhou. Fuzhou West Lake Park is the oldest park in Fuzhou, known as the 'Pearl of Fujian Gardens,' and ranks among the top 36 West Lakes in the country. It features a unique style of Suzhou gardens and the spectacular Rabbit Ear Ridge rocks. Through the Liudi Bridge, Buyun Bridge, Yudai Bridge, and Feihong Bridge, it connects the Kaihuayu, Xiepingyu, and Yaojiaoyu islands in West Lake into a complete tourist area. It is one of the 'Top Ten Scenic Spots' in Fujian Province. Fuzhou West Lake Park combines the classical garden style of Fuzhou, utilizing natural landscapes and mainly local tree species, emphasizing poetic and picturesque beauty, 'seeing the big in the small.' The park consists of three small islands, connected by Liudi Bridge, Feihong Bridge, Buyun Bridge, and Beizha Bridge. The entire park unfolds around the lake, with waterfront buildings, greenery, rock formations, and scenic corridors along the shore. The long dike lies across the water, with weeping willows lining the paths.
