Mount Cook Tasman Glacier Helicopter Tour

🌟 Highlights: At the top of the Southern Alps, at an altitude of 12,218 ft (3,724 m), the relatively high altitude and latitude have given birth to three glaciers: Fox Glacier, Franz Josef Glacier, and Tasman Glacier. The first two are located on the west coast, while Tasman Glacier is located within the range of Mount Cook. This is a glacier that visitors can easily reach without experiencing low temperatures, oxygen deficiency, or altitude sickness. The most direct way is to take a helicopter 🚁 to enjoy the view from the air and land on the glacier snow top, where the entire glacier is within reach. There are two helicopter 🚁 companies operating the glacier air tour and snow landing project. Southern Lakes' take-off point is closer to the glacier, while Helicopter Line's take-off point is slightly farther away. Both companies offer 20-minute, 30-minute, 40-minute, and longer flight routes.
