#WinterTravel #Drive#WinterSea#Travel#Winter Gaudo, the only inhabited island among the eight islands in Gangjin Bay, which belongs to Mangho (望湖), Doam-myeon, Gangjin-gun, is said to have been named ‘Gaudo (駕멍에가牛島)’ because Boeunsan Mountain in Gangjin-eup resembles a cow’s head and the shape of the island resembles a cow’s yoke. Gaudo offers a view of Gangjin Bay and uninhabited islands in all directions, and the coastal scenery is excellent. The island is also rich in natural tourist resources such as zelkova trees, cypress tree groves, and black pine trees. You can walk to the island on foot, as the bridge is connected on both sides by a car-free suspension bridge. Once you arrive at the island, there is a 2.5km ecological trail where you can walk while enjoying the mountains and the sea.
