📌As soon as you enter the entrance of Juknokwon, a bamboo garden opened by Damyang-gun in May 2003, you will see a photo zone with many photo spots. The sound of bamboo leaves hitting each other due to the wind blowing through the mountains stimulates your ears. Many people walk halfway and turn back, but it would be great to walk all the way to the back gate and enjoy the wide-open garden.

Gatbawi Rock is a natural sandstone and tafoni formation near the mouth of the Yeongsangang River on the coast of Yonghae-dong in Mokpo. Take Bus 15 from Mokpo train station, and then head toward the ocean, then cross the bridge.
Gatbawi is named after its shape, which is said to look like two men wearing traditional Korean hats. The rocks are actually made of two individual formations measuring 8 meters and the other is 6 meters.
For a pleasant walk along the sea for around a kilometer, you will be headed to Mokpo Peace Square, which is also known as Pyeonghwa Plaza. This stretch of marine road have beautiful sculptures, convenient facilities, cafes and restaurants for families and lovers.

Getting There - Mokpo is easily accessible by all kinds of public transportation and has both a bus terminal and train station.
Attractions - Pyeongwha Square and Gatbawi Rock are famous attractions. There is also a Sky Walk and Cable Car.

Gatbawi Rock is a national monument located in Mokpo City, one of the most famous landmarks of this place.
It is known for its resemblance to two people wearing the traditional Korean hat, namely the satgats. With this road built on the shore of the sea, you can take a walk and take pictures here.
On the one hand, the trees of the mountain that have started to change color, on the other hand, the sound of the waves of the sea is really pleasing.
There is also an area where you can camp in this area, and it is a very nice place for those who have a caravan.
