A Hidden Gem in Hongcheon

The trail starts off super chill, winding through pine forests with that earthy smell and soft crunch under your feet. It’s one of those hikes where your brain slowly quiets down the higher you go. The path has a few steeper sections, but nothing too crazy. It’s more of a slow burn than a leg killer. And the views? Surprisingly awesome. You get these wide, open ridgelines that look out over layers of mountains and valleys. No massive crowds, no stress, just you and the wind doing its thing. At the summit, I chilled on a rock, munched on a kimbap, and just soaked in the silence. It’s not the most famous spot, but that’s what makes it so good.
