Forest Feels & Quite Trails at Bokjusan

#summervacay Spent a super relaxing day at Bokjusan Recreational Forest in Cheorwon and it was so worth the trip. The vibe here is all about calm nature, cozy forest paths, and just getting away from the noise. The trails aren’t tough at all, perfect for just wandering, taking deep breaths, and enjoying the green everywhere. There’s this really cool mix of pine and birch trees, and the air smelled amazing the whole time. The hike up to Bokjusan’s summit was pretty smooth, and the view at the top? Peaceful mountain layers stretching into the distance, with barely a sound around. Honestly felt like I hit the reset button. There are also little resting spots, wooden decks, and even cabins if you wanna stay overnight. Great for families, solo hikers, or anyone who just needs some quiet forest therapy. Bring snacks, maybe a book, and just soak it all in. Bokjusan isn’t flashy, but that’s kinda what makes it perfect. Total hidden gem in Gangwon-do!
