Cangkuang Temple

Cangkuang Temple is one of the tourist attractions in Garut. Quite far from the main road but paid off with a beautiful view. Cheap entrance tickets. It is an ancient Hindu temple situated in a small island surrounded by a lake. To get to Cangkuang temple, you have to take a bamboo raft. The Island inhabited by five households. The tiny village have a good amounts of land for farming and the entire area near the temple served as a graveyard. There's no historic record about who build up the temple.
