Hat Yai - Padang Besar There are 2 ways to travel. - Travel by train (now open for service): There are 2 trains at 07.30 and 14.00. The price is 80 baht. The travel time is about 50 minutes. - Travel by van: Get on at Hat Yai Bus Terminal to Padang Besar checkpoint. The fare is 60 baht per person. The travel time is about 1 hour. The first trip from Hat Yai is at 06.00. 2. Padang Besar-Butterworth - Travel by train. The price is 11.4 ringgit or about 92 baht. The travel time is about 2 hours. (The train is very punctual.) You can buy tickets at the station. The officer will ask where you are traveling to, or if you are traveling to Kuala Lumpur, you can buy tickets from here as well. 3. Butterworth-Penang - Travel by ferry ⛴ When you arrive at the Butterworth train station, there will be signs to guide you to take the bus or the ferry. But this time I traveled by ferry ⛴ (I read from the reviews that it should be the most convenient and easiest). Price 1.2 ringgit or about 10 baht, travel time about 10 minutes. *Note When crossing to the Penang side, exit the ferry port and walk to the road, turn left, walk about 200 meters, there will be a bus station on the same side as the ferry port.
