Brecon Beacon - Pen Y Fan

I embarked on a hiking trip to Pen y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The journey started at the Storey Arms, where I followed the well-trodden path leading towards the summit. The weather was windy and cold, which made the hike challenging. Reaching the summit of Pen y Fan (886m) was an incredible experience. The view from the top was spectacular, offering a clear sight of Corn Du, the Black Mountains, and even parts of South Wales in the distance. I took some time to soak in the scenery, capture photos, and enjoy a well-earned break before making my way down. The hike to Pen y Fan was an unforgettable experience, offering a perfect mix of adventure, physical challenge, and scenic beauty. It was a great way to connect with nature and appreciate the stunning landscapes of Wales.
