Self-driving to Qinghai Lake, we chose the most beautiful lakeshore at Heimahe

Qinghai Lake is the largest inland saltwater lake on the plateau in China and one of the highest altitude lakes in the world. Here, the sky and the lake blend into one like a stunning painting dropped by God on earth. Since it was summer vacation, there were many people at the Erlangjian Scenic Area. We chose the Heimahe Scenic Area, which had relatively fewer people. There is no entrance fee here, and the round-trip sightseeing bus costs 30 yuan per person, saving energy to reach the lakeside directly. The blue and clear lake surface sparkles, and you can see Huang fish and seabirds up close. Cute pikas can be seen everywhere in the grassland. Snow mountains, prayer flags, cattle, and sheep, the scenery along the way kept surprising us. We were truly healed by the beautiful scenery in front of us.
