The Quiet Charm of Dublin

#2024wish Dublin makes a charming getaway for a couple of days and is often the first stop for visitors to Ireland. Apart from the Guinness Brewhouse which is a popular spot for tourists there are also a number of attractions to check out while exploring the city. 📚 First up is Trinity College, which has lovely grounds that are open to visitors. You do have to buy a ticket to see The Book of Kells in their famed library, unfortunately I missed the opening hours and couldn't visit. Behind the college, there is a small park with a statue of Oscar Wilde, the iconic Irish playwright. One of my favourite parts of visiting Dublin was wandering along the canals, you will see quaint houseboats, various waterfowl and also just locals soaking up the sunshine (whatever they can get) and enjoying the view. In 2024 I wish for more holidays in European countries I haven't been to like Norway! #schoolholidays #europe #solotravel
