In Guangzhou❗️ I found a park with a post-apocalyptic sci-fi vibe that's just perfect for rainy days: whales suspended in mid-air, Transformers entwined with vines, and lush ancient trees that make you feel like you've stepped into a sci-fi movie set, with an atmosphere that's off the charts.. 📍: Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Sihai Equestrian 💰: 0 yuan (free) 🚇: Take the subway line 4 to Xinzao Station A1 exit, then take a taxi : All day (photography is allowed in the open areas, generally no one will mind as long as you don't interfere with others' business) I didn't arrive here until 4:30 pm, with the sky overcast and a bit of drizzle, I wasn't hopeful at first, but I was amazed by the 'Whale Pavilion' in the park. The giant whales suspended in mid-air, and even a whale skeleton, standing in front of the Whale Pavilion, I felt like I was in the vast ocean, with a sense of transcendent freedom, so comfortable. However, there were quite a few people taking photos, I waited from 4:30 until 6:00 to get a photo with no one in it... 📷 Must-visit spots: ✅ Whale Pavilion (Suspended Whale Glass House) The whales and skeletons inside the glass house give a sense of freedom and loneliness of the apocalypse. This is also the best spot for taking photos, casually snapping a shot gives you a blockbuster sci-fi movie feel. ✅ Transformers Standing under the Transformers, you feel your own insignificance. Looking at the Transformers entwined with vines, there's a sense of life that has been long guarded, very impressive. ✅ Vintage Car The red vintage car parked on the green lawn is a spot of red amidst the greenery, very artistic, especially suitable for shooting French-style aesthetic blockbusters. ⚠️ Tips for visiting: The park is some distance from the subway station, it is recommended to take a taxi, which takes about 10 minutes to reach. The park has lush trees and large lawns, so there are quite a few mosquitoes, remember to use mosquito repellent. The park is quite large, after taking photos you can walk around and explore, you might find a surprise around the corner. The park does not charge an entrance fee, just go straight in (I heard that tickets are required, but it was free when I went). In addition to horse riding (for a fee), the park also has a café, art exhibitions, restaurants, etc., and you can sit in the café after wandering around.
