Seoul highlights πŸŽŽπŸ•ΆοΈβ˜•οΈπŸ½οΈπŸ©

less than a two hour flight from Beijing and super nice. I have really fallen in love with Korea over the years and so I try to come as often as I can. Traditional costumes Walk around in Bukchon Village in our rented Hanbok’s. We came out super early so we were the first costumers of the day to rent dresses in one of the many Hanbok rental shops. There are so many options to choose from so it was quite a challenge but we were very happy with our choices. It is very popular among tourists to rent these dresses and walk around to do sightseeing in the area. We had so much fun. This area in Buckhon villages really also give you a taste of history and architecture. The traditional houses here are said to be around 600 years old. Our hotel was nearby so we just walked over there but the nearest subway station would be Anguk. Gentle Monster This is a Korean eye-wear brand and the sunglasses are extremely popular in Asia these days. I think they are super cool. The shops themselves are super interesting as it does look like you are in a art exhibition hall or something. They also focus on giving you a great experience so I had heard that if you get a pair of glasses at the Sinsa District branch you would get a secret code to a door that you will have to find nearby. This was super exciting and we did spend some time to find it. Upon entering the code the door opened and we got a free ice cream. Daerim Changgo - Gallery COLUMN An industrial wear house that have turned into a art-gallery and cafe. It is in Seongsu-dong in a hip neighborhood also referred to as the Koran Brooklyn. I had seen pictures of this place from a Norwegian lady living long time in Busan and shared a lot of pictures from her experience as an expat family living in Korea. From her pictures on Instagram I knew I had to find this place if time allowed. It was a perfect place to have brunch. How to get there: Seongsu Station (Seoul Subway Line 2), Exit 3. Where to stay: I have been staying in different areas of Seoul each time but this time we found a hotel in walkable distance from Insadong one of the cultural and artistic hubs of Seoul. The area is kept in its traditional style houses but at the same time you can find it quite modern these days, here you can find a lot of souvenirs, antiques and artworks. There are also lots of small alleyways that would lead you to more shopping and amazing restaurants and coffee shops. #seoultrip #instatravel #southkorea #seoul
