Hallstatt is a majestic place! It is definitely the real definition of a fairy tale village. It is located in Austria, best reach from Salzburg or Vienna for convenient transports. This is a traditional village that you can walk around for all day without getting bored! The highlight of this place I think is that you can rent your own boat, which you will drive by yourself around the lake, to enjoy the beautiful view!
