#vietnamtrip 🏛️ Another must-see spot in Ho Chi Minh City is the Reunification or Independence Palace. 🇻🇳 It's a historical gem that educates tourists about the Vietnam War. 🕰️ The palace is huge and centrally located in the city. 💸 There's an entrance fee, but considering the many places to explore, it's worth it. 🌟 We visited on a Sunday, so brace yourself for the crowds if you come on a weekend. 🙋♂️ What surprised me was the number of locals also visiting the palace. 🏢 The building has a modern style, and the façade and lawn with the water feature in front give off an authoritative vibe. 🎧 There are counters where you can get audio-guided tours. 📸 The rooms are all open for photos, but they're barricaded, so you can only take pictures from outside. 🚶♂️ There's a lot to explore from the basement to the top, so be ready to climb stairs as the lifts are small and not easy to find. 📷 There are plenty of photo opportunities. 🌆 I particularly enjoyed the rooftop with its scenic viewpoints. 🛍️ There's also a souvenir shop at the top where you can buy refreshments for a break. 🥤
