Through a professional Hanfu restoration team, using fabric craftsmanship and pattern restoration techniques, the excellent Hanfu culture will be brought back to everyone's attention. The mall also has an ancient-style "Travel Through Ancient Time" check-in area, and hosts a midsummer Hanfu market and the annual "Li Yi Hua Xia" Global Hanfu Model Competition, presenting the Chinese style in all aspects. For the first time, Wong Tai Sin Center has partnered with Shenzhen Link Central City to organize a series of Hanfu activities with the theme of "I have a date with Hanfu", connecting people who love traditional culture and Hanfu groups in Guangdong and Hong Kong. Shenzhen Link REIT Central City will hold a Hanfu market and Hanfu parade on July 8 and 9, while the Hanfu activities at Wong Tai Sin Mall will be fully launched from July 8 to August 27. Members of the Danqing Chengnan Hanfu Society will wear these eight sets of restored Hanfu to tour Hong Kong and Kowloon on July 31, first appearing at the "Hong Kong Comic and Video Games Festival 2023" to show the traditional Hanfu style to anime fans; on the return trip, they will return to Wong Tai Sin Centre and Sik Sik Yuen, and will interact with the general public along the way. The top-ranked contestants in the Hong Kong region will have the opportunity to go to the mainland to participate in the finals. The competition makes a comprehensive assessment based on four aspects: demeanor, gait, posture and beauty. This is the second Hong Kong competition, hosted by the Hong Kong Hanfu Culture Association of Guofeng Yaji, with the aim of "letting Chinese aesthetics lead the catwalk fashion and let Hanfu culture return to the public eye", and spares no effort to promote cultural heritage and Hanfu. Midsummer Hanfeng Market: A Collection of Intangible Cultural Heritage Handicrafts On July 18 and July 19, the 1st floor of Wong Tai Sin Centre North Building will host a unique Han-style themed market in Hong Kong, featuring a number of pop-up stores run by "intangible cultural heritage handicraft masters", such as intangible cultural heritage flower wrappings and handmade flower crowns, and other traditional handicrafts.
