Zhouwang Ergong Academy

Zhou and Wang Ergong Academy is located in Shui Tau Village, Kam Tin, Yuen Long, Hong Kong. It is an early school in Hong Kong. It was built by the villagers of Kam Tin in the New Territories to commemorate two Guangdong officials, Zhou Youde and Wang Lairen, who made great contributions to the memorial to abolish the order to move the sea. The two officials helped the villagers at that time to resume their lives and grow up in peace and stability. According to online information, this academy was built between the 23rd and 24th years of the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1684-1685), and has been renovated and repaired many times. It is listed as a Grade 3 historical building in Hong Kong.
