Rakuten Classics A few days ago, I went to Tseung Kwan O with a friend to find something to eat. When I arrived at less than 8pm, I saw a lot of people queuing up at the door waiting to be seated. I clicked the ticket and waited for about half an hour before I could be seated! During the wait I saw a lot of people ordering takeout and heard the manager tell other customers that the kitchen was slower than usual that night. There are about 120 seats in the venue. The passage is quite spacious and the seating is very comfortable! We ordered a total of 2 mains, 1 snack, 2 drinks, and 1 dessert. 1. Shrimp Soup Prawn Smooth Noodles (Small) $78 + Pandan Longan Ice $18 (8/10) The broth is rich in shrimp flavor, with two medium and large size shrimp, size has a small bowl, nothing fresh, guess it is frozen shrimp, and 4 slices of pork and 2 cabbage This is an unusual soup noodle, believed to be made into the noodle before uncut mold, outside looks a bit like 腸粉, smooth and tasty; because the noodle is a layer, quite filling! The pandan longan ice is sweet and delicious, with a faint longan aroma, and there are about 10 longan flesh in it! 2. Shrimp Caviar Shrimp Ball Fried Rice (Small) $78 + Unsweetened Fresh Soy Milk $12 (9/10) Once served, the fried rice smelled very fragrant, the fried rice has 5 shrimp balls inside, the fried rice grains are distinct, very dry, each bite of rice has a lot of caviar, although only a small portion, 2 people eat just right! The soy milk has a rich soy flavor, and there is a soy flavour in your mouth! 3. Pepper and Salt Crispy Fresh Huai Shan $60 (9/10) This red yam served hot, crispy and delicious outside, soft and hard yam, plus pepper and salt sweetness, the combination is very novel; a plate of about 15 pieces of bran, this is a surprise! 4. Coconut Sago Dumplings $38 (8/10) Maybe because it's closed, it's not hot enough, but the coconut flavor is heavy, the sago heart is a little hard heart, retaining a certain crunch. The dumplings are filled with sesame seeds. The skin is thin. They are pierced after two strokes with a spoon. The sesame filling flows out!
