Guangsheng Temple in Shanxi is a corner that seems to be forgotten by time, and every inch of land exudes the charm of history. ✨Guangsheng Temple is located on the southern slope of Mount Huo, east of Hongdong County, Shanxi Province, and consists of the Upper Temple, Lower Temple, and Water God Temple. ✨Architectural Style Upper Temple: Located on the southern ridge of Mount Huo, with ancient cypress trees towering and a tall pagoda, it is resplendent and magnificent. Most of the buildings are relics rebuilt in the Ming dynasty, with a structure and style of the Yuan dynasty. Lower Temple: Located at the foot of the mountain, it is built according to the terrain, with halls of different heights, forming a group of temples with rich variations. Water God Temple: Located on the west side of the Lower Temple, separated from the temple by a wall, it is dedicated to the Ming Ying King. 📸Main Attractions Feihong Pagoda: Built in the Zhengde period of the Ming dynasty, it is the most exquisite and well-preserved glazed pagoda in China, and the filming location of the 1986 version of "Journey to the West" episode "Sweeping the Pagoda to Distinguish the Strange Injustice". Yuan Dynasty Drama Murals: More than ten murals from the Yuan dynasty are preserved in the Ming Ying King Hall of the Water God Temple, which are the only ancient Chinese murals not based on Buddhism or Taoism.
