端午 Holiday Abroad ~ Hostalets de Bas, Girona, Spain

For the Dragon Boat Festival mini-holiday, of course, it's time to travel abroad! Hostalets de Bas is located in the La Garrotxa region of Girona Province, near the Volcanic Zone Natural Park. Calle Teixeida has been declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument. This village was built around several inns situated along the royal road connecting Olot and Vic. The town is well-organized with neat streets. At the entrance to the town, there is a monument conceptualized around a farming family, created by sculptor Modest Fluvià.
