A Benedictine monastery is one of the oldest churches in Spain

Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Huesca (Region) It was founded as a Benedictine monastery in the late 11th century. Its main entrance is in Romanesque style. The interior of the church has three naves, a transept and three apses. The choir stalls are Gothic. However, its most outstanding feature is undoubtedly the Romanesque cloister.
