Good eats and well preserved hanok village vibes in low key Jeonju

Jeonju might not be on most people’s travel radar but it certainly should be! Just about 1.5hrs train from Seoul or a 3hr bus ride from Seoul, it offers a charming, relaxed small city feel with good eats (like Kalguksu, mandu, choco pie, bibimbap and bean sprouts soup) and well preserved traditional Korean hanok village architecture. The city is quite flat and easily walkable so exploring is easy.
