Library in the Jeonju Forest 🌿

The 'Haksan Forest Poetry Library' in Pyeonghwa-dong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju is a special space where nature and literature come together📚🌳. Located in Haksan Riverside Park, this library only has about 1,800 poetry books, and you can only read them in the library, not rent them.   The library is a three-story double-layered staircase structure, so you can feel the forest all around you inside the building made of wood and glass. There are various spaces inside, such as a veranda, an attic, and a lower room, and there are reading seats where you can read poetry books anywhere. In addition, memo pads and colored pencils are provided for you to write and draw.  The poetry collection is divided into five themes: ‘Banhada (Today, when poetry is needed)’, ‘Goruda (Space for harvesting poetry)’, ‘Dareuda (Poems containing the world)’, ‘Mannada (Space for meeting poets)’, and ‘Seonhada (Poems meeting paintings)’, allowing you to appreciate poems with various themes.
